About Me

   Hello, my name is Will Hendrick. I am a Boy Scout in Troop 56 at Collierville Christian Church in Tennessee. My patrol currently is the Hobo Turtles. Not only have I done Boy Scouts, but also Cub Scouts. I went all from Tiger to Webelos. In my family I have a wonderful Mom and Dad and have one little brother. My Grandfather accomplished the goal of becoming Eagle when he was in Boy Scouts and has since challenged me to do the same. Boy Scouts has impacted my life, and I wish to one day become an Eagle Scout.

How I use Scouting in the Real World

  Using scouting in the real world shows others in your community how you can represent how to be an outstanding citizen.  Even simple tasks like holding a door open, using your manners, and showing respect to others can leave an enormous impact on your community. Scouts try daily to follow the Scout Oath, Law, & Moto to show others what it means to be an obedient citizen.

My goal every day, from the moment I wake up, is to do one kind deed. Whether it be to my parents, littler brother, teacher, etc. Following the rules of scouting means more to me than memorizing a phrase and repeating it at the beginning of every meeting. It shouldn't just be followed by scouts; it should be followed by others in society.

That is why I believe leaving even the smallest impact can help someone realize how to be a more cooperative citizen.

On my honor, I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
